Absolutely, there are colleges out there that will consider applicants with a 2.5 GPA. Many schools practice a holistic review process and will take into account various aspects of your application, not just your academic performance. That said, improving your GPA could open more doors for you. Consider taking courses.
Achieve one of the following: Earn at least a 2.5 high school GPA; or. Rank in the top half of the schools graduating class; or. Earn an ACT composite score of 22 or higher, or SAT total score of 1120 or higher (exception: MSU‐Northern: ACT score of 20, SAT score of 1050).
Freshmen students seeking first-time full-time general entry to UMs four-year degree programs must meet one of the following admissions requirements: ACT composite of 22, or. SAT combined score of 1120 or. a 2.50 cumulative grade point average, or.
The transcript must post all courses completed and a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.25 and/or test scores listed below. ACT/SAT Scores: An ACT Composite score of 27 or an SAT Total Score of 1300. Official ACT/SAT scores should be sent electronically directly to the Office of Admissions from the testing agency.
