When to use an AS3?

(Form AS3 is used to assent only part of the land comprised in an estate, by reference to a plan identifying that part.) However, there is no prescribed form for an assent which only transfers the equitable interest and not the legal interest in land, whether the land is unregistered or registered.

What does deed of assent mean?

A deed of assent is sometimes used to convey real property to heir(s) who are entitled to the property under a decedents will. This type of deed constitutes the executors agreement or assent to the transfer of the property to the heir(s), after all debts of the decedent have been paid.
