Parking. The Music Concourse Garage is convenient to the Academys main entrance, and free street parking is available near the Academy and throughout Golden Gate Park. Please note, however, that the Park gets extremely busy on weekends, holidays, and school breaks, and parking during these periods is limited.
Admission. Our permanent galleries are FREE and do not require a reservation. Timed tickets are required for the IMAX Theater and Special Exhibit.

Tips for VIsiting the California Science Center You can take pictures of the Space Shuttle for personal use, but leave food, drink and large bags outside. They arent allowed. The best time to visit is weekday afternoons.
