Information. The OEN (Ontario Education Number) is a nine-digit unique identification number assigned to elementary and high school students across the province. If you have an OEN, you can find it on your report card. If youve forgotten your OEN, your high school guidance counsellor will have it on record.
School is mandatory for children from about the age of six years old to 18 years old.
The OEN is nine digits long (eight digits, plus a check digit), randomly assigned, and tied to stable information about the student (name, gender, date of birth).
A banner ID is your Carleton ID number, a nine-digit number starting with 100 or 101. If you are a Carleton student, it is the same as your student number.
