Who can attend a DeMolay meeting?

The members of the sponsoring body, parents of the members, and any other adult who may be interested in supporting DeMolay should be invited to attend. The most important goal of the Order of DeMolay is to provide young men with quality mentorship to help them become the best person they can be.

What is the highest honor in DeMolay?

Degree of Chevalier. The Degree of Chevalier is the highest honor that an Active DeMolay can receive. This honor also may be granted to a Senior DeMolay.

What are the requirements to join DeMolay?

Requirements for membership: To be eligible to join DeMolay, three simple requirements need to be met by the applicant. You are a young man between the ages of 12 and 21. You are of good moral character. Furthermore, you believe in a supreme being (all religions welcome).

How do you qualify for DeMolay merit bar?

Be a member in good standing for a minimum of one year and attend two-thirds of the Priory functions. (Priory must have held a minimum of six activities other than regular meetings.) For attending at least thirty regular weekly religious services per year.

What is the representative DeMolay Award?

The Representative DeMolay Award is the highest self-achievement award Active and Senior DeMolays can earn. Its a self-assessment program where you progress towards goals you set for yourself. You complete a detailed survey of your interests, achievements, general knowledge, and habits.
