Herdshare Program Information The only way to obtain raw milk in Ohio is to join a herdshare or own your own dairy animal. $60 per month (every 4 weeks) which entitles you to a gallon per week. $30 per month entitles you to a half gallon per week.

Are herd shares legal?

Purchase Your Herdshare(s) Herdshare members pay a one-time fee to purchase their share of the herd. Once youre a herdshare member there is a monthly boarding care fee per share, which covers feed, milking, and herd management.
