Since its founding in 1935, City College has evolved into a multicultural, multi-campus community college that is one of the largest in the country. CCSF offers courses in more than 50 academic programs and over 100 occupational disciplines.
SFSU is on the semester system. Semester units are one and one-half times the value of quarter units. College of Professional Global Education courses earn SFSU residence credit (except for continuing education unit, noncredit and contract classes).
The University of San Francisco operates under a semester credit hour system of approximately 15 weeks each semester in the academic year, or its equivalent in the winter intersession, summer session, and online semester.
Tuition Fee Increase: As of Summer 2024 semester, the tuition fee increased from $358 to $406 per unit. Effective Summer 2024: Tuition fee per semester unit: $406 + $46.00 enrollment fee per unit.
