There is a $40 application fee for all new graduate applicants and returning applicants who have not attended SIUE as a graduate student for the past nine consecutive terms. Payment should be made in U.S. dollars by check or money order payable to SIUE. Payment may also be made by credit card online at siue.edu/apply.
There is a non-refundable application fee of $40 for all graduate programs. You may pay by Visa or MasterCard via the application center. A convenience fee of $1.10 is added for this service. You may also pay via wire transfer through your bank or debit card.
Students with a cumulative 2.6 high school GPA (4.0 scale); cumulative 2.0 high school GPA (4.0 scale) and 990 SAT ERW + M or 19 ACT; or rank in the top 10% of their high school graduating class will be automatically admitted to SIUE.
Salary Information: Each graduate assistant position offers a full-in/out-of-state tuition waiver plus a stipend of $1167.20 per month for the first year and a longevity bonus of $1230.40 per month in the second year. Professional development resources are also available. The employee is responsible for student fees.
