ACT will review the request. Requests are normally processed in 10-14 business days. Youll receive an email when the Decision Notification is available to view in TAA. Review the decision notification. Print a copy of the decision notification and provide it to the examinee.
If you already have a documented 504 or IEP at your school, the process of getting ACT accommodations is not complicated (usually). It usually takes about 2 weeks from the time when your testing coordinator or guidance counselor sends in your documentation to prove you already have accommodations at school.
LSAC will provide notice of any equivalent accommodations granted within the approval letter posted to your online account. If you have any questions about automatically approved accommodations, please contact an LSAC Accommodated Testing Customer Relations Specialist by phone at 855.384.
There is no specific deadline under the ADA for responding to an accommodation request, but employers must act in a timely manner. An undue delay occurs when an employer takes an unreasonably long time to process a request without valid justification.
When registering for the ACT test for the first time, students should indicate that they need accommodations. Upon completing the registration process, students will receive an email with instructions on how to work with a school official to submit a request in the Test Accessibility and Accommodations System.
