Learners may qualify for a waiver for various reasons, such as military service or nontraditional learner status. Adopted degree-seekers are also eligible for tuition waivers. Schools, state governments, and the federal government fund waiver programs.
The staff fee waiver is limited to 60-credits in any academic year (August to July) plus a residential school where it is essential for the qualification being studied. In addition to this, one exempted non-credit bearing module may also be permitted. There are three exceptions to this: 120-credit postgraduate modules.
*Eligible: Candidates whose parents annual income in the preceding financial year (FY ending 2023-2024) is less than ₹8 lakhs are eligible to apply for the TFW scheme. **The waiver is applicable only to the tuition fee component of the total fees.
OU Faculty/Staff Tuition Waiver Full-time employees enrolling in regular coursework receive a tuition benefit that waives one half of tuition and several fees for up to 6 hours per semester or 3 hours per summer session.
