City or county employment is not considered state employment. At the UW classified staff employees are covered by state civil service law (RCW 41.06).
Eligibility. The University remits the full tuition for Research Assistants, Teaching Assistants, Program/Project Assistants and Lecturer Student Assistants (RA, TA, PA, and LSA), and the non-resident tuition for certain Instructional Academic Staff and University Fellows who hold eligible appointments.
Full-time faculty and staff who enroll in standard OSU credit courses may receive a waiver of half the tuition on courses and a waiver of specified fees. View the request form for more information.
Eligible University and state of Washington employees may enroll for and receive a tuition exemption for up to six credits each quarter, provided they enroll on a space-available basis. Eligible students are allowed to enroll for more than six credits and will be charged tuition ingly for the additional credits.
The waiver of tuition may be applied to a maximum of 126 hours of undergraduate study at Illinois State University regardless of whether the student is enrolled as a full-time or part-time student; Fees and charges other than tuition are not included in the tuition waiver.
