The Nevada Clean Indoor Air Act (NCIAA) went into effect on December 8, 2006, prohibiting the smoking of tobacco products in most indoor public places and indoor places of employment.
Under this Act, it is unlawful for any person to discharge any pollutant from a point source into navigable waters, unless a permit is obtained. The Nevada Water Pollution Control Law is set forth in NRS 445A. 300 through 445A. 730, and establishes Nevadas compliance with the federal Clean Water Act.
