Restrictions may be placed on your drivers license if you are found guilty of certain crimes in California. Your license may be suspended or it may be revoked, however there is a difference between a drivers license suspension and a revocation. Suspension is a temporary withholding of driving privileges.
In order to appeal your license suspension, you must purchase an Application for Hearing from any Alberta registry. You can choose between an oral or written appeal with the former coming at a higher cost than the latter. As noted above, this must be received within 30 days of the offence date.
For the driver to have his or her license reinstated, the driver must clear their Mississippi driving record, pay court fines, pay any applicable reinstatement fees and the Mississippi Department of Public Safety must receive a clearance confirmation from the court.
