Signed into law on June 30, 2022, HB 451 restricts Delaware hunters aged 18 to 20 by requiring them to remain within 30 yards and in direct line-of-sight of a licensed hunter aged 21 or older.
Only 2 antlered deer may be taken during any license year (July 1 June 30) by all methods and seasons combined. There is no limit on antlerless deer provided a hunter has an antlerless deer tag in their possession before harvesting additional antlerless deer.
It is illegal to hunt over or near mineral or salt licks in some states. Check with your local conservation officer to be sure that the salt or mineral mix you want to use and when and where you put it out is not considered baiting and that you can hunt near it legally.
