Wyoming is a full independent scope of practice state, following the national APRN Consensus Model of Regulation since its adoption in 2007.
TerraPower broke ground on its Natrium reactor near a retired coal plant in Kemmerer, Wyoming, in June 2024. Natrium will be the first commercial reactor in the state of Wyoming and one of the first advanced reactors to operate in the United States, expanding the states already impressive energy portfolio.
Wyoming is an Agreement State. No operating nuclear reactors or fuel cycle facilities other than mills are located in Wyoming. Wyoming has jurisdiction over x-ray equipment, naturally occurring radioactive materials, and certain radioactive materials that are not produced in a reactor.
As per Section 17-29-110 of the Wyoming LLC Act, an Operating Agreement isnt required for an LLC in Wyoming. But while its not required in Wyoming to conduct business, we strongly recommend having an Operating Agreement for your LLC.
