Begin by completing the Case Information Sheet (JDF 1000). Ensure all sections are filled accurately, including your name and contact information.
Next, fill out the Petition for Declaration of Invalidity of Marriage (JDF 1601). Check at least one box identifying the grounds for declaring your marriage invalid and provide a written explanation on page 2.
If applicable, complete the Summons for Declaration of Invalidity of Marriage (JDF 1602) only if you named another party as Respondent.
Review all completed forms carefully. Save copies for your records and prepare to file them with the Court along with the $230 filing fee.
After filing, serve the papers to your spouse if they did not file jointly. Choose an appropriate service method such as Waiver and Acceptance of Service or Personal Service.
