How do I get a I-20 form?

To request a new I-20 form, contact your DSO. It is important to remember that your DSO can only reprint an official I-20 form when your SEVIS status is initial or active.

How long after the starting date on my I-20 Can I enter the US?

The Form I-20 lists your program start date, 30 days before which you are allowed to enter the United States. F-1 and M-1 student visas can be issued up to 120 days in advance of your course of study start date.

How much is the i20 form?

The Department of Homeland Security will collect the processing fee for those students who wish the United States as a student or exchange visitor with a Form I-20 or DS-019 dated on or after June 24, 2019. How much is the fee? The fee for processing an I-20 for a F-1 Student Visa after June 24, 2019 is $350.00.

I-20s: Electronic or Original If you receive an electronically signed I-20, you must print out the I-20 and carry a physical copy when using it for travel or other official purposes. As always- be sure to keep all old I-20s for your records, but use the newest version for travel or other purposes.
