The Notice of Privacy Practices must be provided as part of the Admission process for inpatient admissions to the hospital, or on the first date of service delivery for outpatient visits. Frequency of Providing Notice: the Notice must be provided as part of every Inpatient admission.
HIPAA Notices of Privacy Practices should also be displayed in a prominent physical location (i.e., a waiting room) and published on the covered entitys website.
