Right-click on the thumbnail of any PDF file. On the menu, click Get Info. Navigate to the Open With: section and select Adobe Acrobat DC or Reader from the dropdown list. Tap Change All to apply this change to all future PDF documents.
Insert Your Signature in a PDF Open the PDF in Reader and scroll to where you want to insert a signature block. Select TOOLS (youll find it in the upper left corner) to open the Tools Menu. From the Tools Menu, select CERTIFICATES. Select DIGITALLY SIGN.
How to add your initials to a PDF form: Go to the Sign PDF tool. Upload the PDF from your computer, Google Drive, or Dropbox. Select Only Me. Enter initials in the Initials text box. Click Apply. Select and place your initials from the Initials box on the right of your screen.
How to add an e-signature Open a document with Adobe Acrobat. Make sure you have Adobe Acrobat downloaded. Type, draw, or upload your signature. With Adobe Acrobat there are three ways to add a signature. Drag and drop your signature into the correct field. Save and send the PDF.
Steps to sign a PDF Open the PDF document or form that you want to sign. Click the Sign icon in the toolbar. The Fill Sign tool is displayed. The form fields are detected automatically. Click the Sign icon in the toolbar, and then choose whether you want to add your signature or just initials.

Click on the signature. If the user added their signature within Preview, the signature should appear highlighted. Click the Delete key on the keyboard to remove the signature. If users signed the file outside of Preview, they might need to select Tools Redact to redact the signature from the document.
