How to Make an HTML File We start with the doctype declaration. This is a special tag that tells the browser that the file is an HTML file. The element follows the doctype declaration. Inside , there are two main parts of the document: the head section and the body section.
: The Generic Section element The HTML element represents a generic standalone section of a document, which doesnt have a more specific semantic element to represent it. Sections should always have a heading, with very few exceptions.
The element is found within the tag in HTML. It is used to highlight some part of the text for quick reference inside another element, such as in a paragraph that is of more importance or relevance to the user. It uses the default yellow color for highlighting. This can be changed using CSS properties.
To highlight text in HTML with different colors, you can use the element along with the style attribute to apply specific colors. For example, to highlight a certain portion of text in yellow, you can wrap that text with your text here .
HTML Tag The element is used to highlight text inside of another element such as a paragraph, list, or table. Text to which the element has been added is considered to be particularly relevant in a specific context.
The tag is used to define emphasized text. The content inside is typically displayed in italic. A screen reader will pronounce the words in with an emphasis, using verbal stress.
The tag defines text that should be marked or highlighted.
The HTML. We use the tag to indicate that our text is actually code. We use the tag because in this case, we actually want to browser to display the white space that we show.
