Change display size text On your device, open the Settings app. Search and select Font size. To change your preferred font size, move the slider left or right.
To do this you need to mark either the OTF or the TTF file in the ZIP file, and click Settings Extract to. Extract the font to Android SDcard iFont Custom. The font will now be located in My Fonts as a custom font. Open it to preview the font and to it on your device.
Set the autoSizeTextType attribute to either none or uniform. The none value is the default, and uniform lets TextView scale uniformly on horizontal and vertical axes. Set the autoSizePresetSizes attribute to an array of preset sizes. To access the array as a resource, define the array in the res/values/arrays.
To define a range of text sizes and a dimension in XML, use the android namespace and set the following attributes: Set the autoSizeTextType attribute to either none or uniform. The none value is the default, and uniform lets TextView scale uniformly on horizontal and vertical axes.
Go to File - Settings, a new setting dialogue box will appear. Then go to Editor - General. Now mark the checkbox Change font size with Ctrl + Mouse wheel and click on Apply button. Now to change your editor font size, you just have to press and hold Ctrl and rotate the Mouse wheel.
To add fonts as resources, perform the following steps in Android Studio: Right-click the res folder and go to New Android resource directory. In the Resource type list, select font, then click OK. Add your font files in the font folder. Double-click a font file to preview the files fonts in the editor.
To set a font for a TextView , do one of the following: In the layout XML file, set the fontFamily attribute to the font file you want to access.
