You may have accidentally set an option that changes how your keyboard operates. Choose Apple menu > System Settings, click Accessibility in the sidebar, then click Keyboard on the right. (You may need to scroll down.) Make sure Slow Keys is turned off.

Your keychain may be locked automatically if your computer has been inactive for a period of time or your user password and keychain password are out of sync. You can set a length of time that Keychain Access waits before automatically requiring you to enter your password again.
Strangely enough this is the most common cause of Apple Mail asking repeatedly for a password. If your internet connection drops out, even just temporarily, Apple Mail will often ask for a password. This is because it's unable to make a successful connection to the email service provider.
Make sure you selected to autofill passwords: Choose Safari > Settings, click AutoFill, then make sure “User names and passwords” is selected. Check whether you chose to never save the password for the website: Choose Safari > Settings, click Passwords, then unlock your passwords.
Choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, then click Users & Groups. Click the lock , then enter your account password. Click Login Options in the lower-left corner. Choose an account from the “Automatic login” menu.
