This tutorial is to refill the non-refillable roller stamps made by PLUS Guard Your ID. It is not for the refillable roller stamps like this. This stamp has a removable cartridge. The cartridge is not refillable and will cost $8. We cut the stamp core open. You can see there is a sponge cylinder. A layer of rubber covers the sponge. To refill, we remove the rolleramp;#39;s cover first. There are 2 methods: first, the rod comes off in 2 pieces. You can pull out the part with the more extended rod, and fill in space with ink, and leave it for 24, 48 hours. Then there is another way. We used a rotary tool to drill two holes through the sponge. Then we fill it up with ink, using the precision tip. Now we can use the roller stamp right away. It will take about three to six hours for the ink to spread, but you donamp;#39;t have to wait for it. I hope you enjoy this video. Visit us at .bchtechnologies.com or our local store at Greensboro, North Carolina. Cheers.

Dye-based ink pads are commonly used for stamping because of their quick drying time, so you dont need to worry about smudges. Pigment-based ink pads, on the other hand, have a slow drying time and are therefore prone to smudging. The solution is to dry the ink with some heat tool or air dry it.

I used my waterbased brush pens (FYI alcohol markers dont work, they dry too quickly). *Although brush pens arent ink pads, they work really well and come in all sorts of colors (Tombow Dual Brush Pens have 96 colors). I just attach the stamp to an acrylic block, color it with a marker, and then stamp it.
A self-inking stamp is your best solution. This stamp type features a self-contained ink pad, which it re-inks the rubber die up into before each impression. Self-inking stamp pads feature water-based dye ink for less bleed-through, are re-inkable and refillable.
