Use a PDF editor to erase individual words. Open the PDF file you want to edit in Acrobat. Click on the Edit PDF tool on the right-hand side of the screen. Select a text block and make changes in the PDF or erase words using your keyboard.
Rub Out Text in your Pdf: Drag and drop the Pdf file. Select the file in the list and open it. Rub Out Text in your Pdf with the help of the toolbar. Save the edited file. Save or share the file.
To do this, navigate to Tools and select Redact Redact Text Images Find Text Redact. This makes it easy to identify and then black out that content throughout the document.

The T with a line through it indicates the Strikethrough Text tool. Apply. Drag your cursor over the text you want to mark.
Redact sensitive content (Acrobat Pro) In the Edit menu, choose Redact a PDF. Choose All tools Redact a PDF. Select the text or image in a PDF, right-click, and select Redact. Select the text or image in a PDF, and choose Redact text in the floating menu.
Select Edit from the All tools menu and then select Image. In the dialog, select the image file you want to insert. Select where you want to insert the image or select drag to resize it as you insert. A copy of the image file appears on the page, with the same resolution as the original file.
