To prevent Safari from automatically unzipping downloaded ZIP files, go to the Safari top menu and click on Preferences. In the Preferences window, navigate to the General tab and uncheck the option Open safe files after downloading.
Method 1 Find the . zip file you would like to open on your computer and double-click on the file. If you have installed WinZip courier, Outlook might automatically zip the attached files in all the out going emails. This auto zip feature can be turned off in the following way. Open Configure WinZip courier window. This can be opened by typing winzip courier in the start menu search box.
