all right so these are the tools were going to need for the job uh the only one thats optional here really is the jakari thats just a cable stripper but its a very handy little tool to have you can just use your croppers right so first thing we need to do is fit the outer shroud we need to trim enough off the end just so it fits over the actually for the cable nice and snug so on the screen you can see the various different components the ceiling ring the glam body and the clamping ring should be taped further up the swa before this next step so as a matter of preference i like to keep the ceiling nut and the shroud out of the way so to do this put a bit of tape around and screw it in place so im going to apply this tape now just as a guide for when we need to cut around the outside of the cable with the hacksaw so this is purely optional so the objective for this next part is not to cut through the armor and below the sheave but to lightly score and weaken it that way the strands
