The Find feature in long documents helps locate specific words or phrases by searching the document. Use the Find command on the ribbon, type the word or phrase, and results will appear in the left pane. Arrows help jump to each instance, and for repeated words, scroll through the list. To swap words or phrases, use the Replace command. For example, change "Sewanee Review" to "SR". Click Find Next then Replace. Save time with Replace All to automatically change every instance in the document.
