how to compress PDF file in Mac if youre using MacBook Air MacBook Pro iMac or Mac Mini the steps are going to be same now for example I have already kept a sample PDF file over here now if I select and show you the details of that you can see this current file is of 2.5 MB now you can reduce or compress this particular PDF file in two ways the first and simple way is you need to open uh that particular PDF file so you can double click on that and that particular file will be opened in preview so once you open this file you can go in file option over here on the menu bar and then you need to select export option now one more thing even if the export as PDF option is active you dont have to select that you need to select export and you will get a pop-up screen you can rename the file so lets rename it as test one where you want to save it you can select the location so Im going to keep desktop only so it will be easier to compare both the files and after that format you have to keep
