Delete your MFA method Sign in to your ID.me account. In your account dashboard, select Sign in Security. In the Security tab, youll find all of the MFA methods youve set up. Find the MFA sign-in method youd like to delete, then select the trash can icon 🗑. Select Delete to remove the MFA method.
Go to Microsoft Entra ID Properties Under Manage security defaults settings at the bottom, At security default setting select from Enable to Disable options.
Delete a 2FA account on Android Tap and hold the desired authenticator account, and then select Remove. A notification window will be displayed advising your account will be deleted in 48 hours. Tap OK to continue.
Turn off 2-Step Verification Open your devices Settings app and tap Google. Manage your Google Account. At the top, tap Security. Under How you sign in to Google, tap 2-Step Verification. You might need to sign in. Tap Turn off. Confirm by tapping Turn off.

Recover your account Visit the ID.me Contact Support page. Select Submit a ticket without signing in. From the Why cant you access your account? drop-down menu, select Sign in issues. Select additional drop-downs to tell us more about your sign-in issue: Select Submit.
