Hey there. This is Seth retipster.com. And in this video, Iamp;#39;m going to show you what to do when you get a text file that looks like this, where itamp;#39;s just a complete mess. Itamp;#39;s just data all over the place. And you want to get this into an Excel file and start organizing it and separating it into different columns. But how do you do that when itamp;#39;s just this massive block of text? So all I have to do is open up the text file, and if youamp;#39;re on a Windows PC, you can right click and youamp;#39;ll probably see something that allows you to select all the text and the entire text file. How to split text in Google Sheets Select the column or cell range with the text you want to split. Click Data, and then select Split text to columns. In the Separator pop-up that appears next to your selected text, click the dropdown. Click your delimiter: Comma, Semicolon, Period, Space, or Custom.
