An MD file is a text file created using one of several possible dialects of the Markdown language. It is saved in plain text format but includes inline symbols that define how to format the text (e.g. bold, indentations, headers, table formatting).

Markdown files allow embedding images in it. However it requires the image to be hosted at some location and we can add the url of the image to embed it.

To add a link to an image, enclose the Markdown for the image in brackets, and then add the link in parentheses.
