hello everyone today we are talking about base64 encoding first we need to establish the difference between encryption and encoding encryption means that we take a clear text input and transform it to a ciphertext using a key the only way to decrypt the ciphertext to its original clear text is by using the decryption key which could be the same key as has been used during encryption but not necessarily so coding on the other hand Works without a key meaning I donamp;#39;t need a key to encode a clear text nor to decode the ciphertext this means that everyone who receives the ciphertext can decode it and it is not meant to be a safeguard against eavesdroppers in todayamp;#39;s video we are covering base 64 encoding which is used to transform 8-bit binary data into ASCII or ASCII text this includes pictures videos or even ciphertext those can be transformed to quote-unquote normal text blocks to be used by protocols who can only process plain text such protocols include the email proto

Base64 is an encoding algorithm that converts any characters, binary data, and even images or sound files into a readable string, which can be saved or transported over the network without data loss.
Base64 images are primarily used to embed image data within other formats like HTML, CSS, or JSON. By including image data within an HTML document, the browser doesnt need to make an additional web request to fetch the file, since the image is already embedded in the HTML document.
How to convert image to Base64 online Choose the source of image from the Datatype field. Paste the URL or select an image from your computer. If necessary, select the desired output format. Press the Encode image to Base64 button. Download or copy the result from the Base64 field.
Base64-encoded images can be embedded directly inside HTML emails without having to host the image on a remote server. This offers several advantages: Avoids tracking - External images are often used by email marketers to track email opens.
Render HTML Base64 images Load the location of the image into a string variable. Create a Byte Array variable and set as follows: System.IO.File.ReadAllBytes(TickImage) Create a String variable for the Base64 string as follows: Convert.ToBase64String(TickImageByteArray)
So Base64 encoded images will work, but by far most customers host their images themselves and link to those images in the HTML. Not all e-mail clients are able to parse Base64 encoded images and it will inflate the size of the e-mail unnecessary.
Convert the image to Base64 format: You can use an online Base64 encoder to convert the binary image data to a Base64 string. The result will be a string of characters that can be easily embedded into your HTML code. Create a data URL: The Base64 string must be wrapped in a data URL format.
