How to Copy Styles Between MS Word Documents Easy and Fast Open a new document. Open Styles Box (SHIFT + CTRL + ALT + S keys) Click Manage Styles button. Click Import/Export. Close Normal template. Open file where you want to copy style from. Copy over style.
If you havent already applied a theme, on the Design tab, click Themes, and then click the one you want to use. Customize the theme any way you like by changing the colors, fonts, paragraph spacing, watermark, background colors, or page borders on the Design tab.
If you prefer a theme other than the Office theme to be the default, then you can select your preferred theme as follows. Open a Word file. On the Design tab, select and customize your Theme. In the Design tab, select the option Set as Default. In the next window, click Yes if you want the theme to be the default.

How to change your theme Open a Microsoft 365 application, like Word, Excel, or PowerPoint. In the top left, select File Options General Office Theme. Choose your favorite option.
The default Document Themes folder is stored within your user profile. On a default freestanding installation, the folder is located at C:\Users\\ AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates\Document Themes.
