Code completion Configure: Settings | Editor | General | Code Completion. For automatic completion, enable the Show suggestions as you type option. Basic completion: Ctrl Space. Smart type-matching completion: Ctrl Shift Space. To reject all suggestions, press Esc .
To disable the inlay hint usages in your editor, open Settings ⌘, (macOS) / Ctrl+Alt+S (Windows/Linux), go to Inlay Hints and uncheck usages.
Go to Settings | Editor | Inlay Hints (Product Help) and check out inlays that have already been implemented. To support multiple languages with a single type of inlay hints, see declarative InlayHintsProviderFactory (2023.1+) or InlayHintsProviderFactory (pre-2023.1).
In the Power Save Mode (File | Power Save Mode), highlighting of usages is disabled. If necessary, you can disable the automatic highlighting. Press Ctrl Alt 0S to open settings and then select Editor | Code Editing. Clear the Usages of element at caret checkbox in the Highlight on Caret Movement section.
To disable them, clear the Usages checkbox in Settings | Editor | Inlay Hints | Code Vision. Alternatively, in the editor, hover over a hint and select Hide Code Vision: Usages Inlay Hints or Hide All Code Vision Inlay Hints from the context menu.
Inlay hints are special markers that appear in the editor and provide you with additional information about your code, like the names of the parameters that a called method expects. Other types of hints inform you about annotations, method parameters, usages, and so on (depending on the language).
Press Alt+Enter when you see the tooltip, select the action from the list and press the right arrow key. In the context menu, select Disable.
