Add lines and arrows in Pages on Mac Click. in the toolbar, then in the Basic category, click a line. Options include a straight line with or without endpoints, or a line with editing points to create a curved line. Click to select an existing line on a page.
Place the insertion point where you want a new section to appear. in the toolbar, then click Section Break. A new page is added after the insertion point and begins a new section.
You can also drag and drop references from Mendeley into your Word, Pages or Google documents. The reference will appear as a complete, formatted citation.
It is important to understand the difference between a page break and a section break. A page break simply pushes any information after that page break onto the next page; a section break essentially splits your document into different parts to allow you to apply complex formatting to your document.
Delete a section in a word-processing document: Click the View button in the toolbar, then choose Page Thumbnails. Select any page in the section you want to delete (a highlight appears behind other pages in the same section), then press Delete on your keyboard.
Select where you want a new section to begin. Go to Layout Breaks, and then choose the type of section break you want. Next Page Starts the new section on the following page.
Layer objects Drag an object so it overlaps with one or more other objects. In the Format sidebar, click the Arrange tab. With the object selected, do one of the following: Move an object one increment at a time: Click Forward or Backward. Move an object to the very front or back of the stack: Click Front or Back.
Ungroup objects: Control-click the group, then choose Ungroup from the shortcut menu.
