Lets take a look at using the Collaborate feature to work with somebody else on the same Pages document at the same time. Here Ive created a new Pages document and the Collaborate button is really big and hard to miss up here. Now for this to work this document has to be saved to iCloud Drive. So you dont have to be using the document or Desktops feature of iCloud Drive or anything like that but you do have to have it saved in iCloud Drive. I can see here if I click it is saved in the Pages folder in iCloud Drive. So that will work. Now I can hit Collaborate and now I have to notify the other person at the same time as I add them. So basically its one step. You add somebody and that will notify them that they have been added. I can do that by Mail, Messages. I can just get a Link and then send it to them some other way. I can use AirDrop. I can use a variety of other things depending upon what you have installed. So lets just do Mail right now. Im going to look at Share options

Preventing text from being hyphenated Select the text. On the Home tab, expand the Paragraph group. In the Paragraph dialog box, select the Line and Page Breaks tab. Under Formatting exceptions, select the Dont hyphenate check box.

By default, Pages automatically hyphenates words if they need to break at the end of a line. Here are ways to turn hyphenation on or off: To turn hyphenation on or off for the entire document, click Inspector in the toolbar, click the Document button, and then select or deselect Hyphenate (in the Document pane).
Naturally numbering only works when you select Numbered or Harvard from [Bullets and Lists] Not so intuitively, if you want the the tiered number 1, 1.1, 1.1. 1 etc. to work, you need to do two things: check the checkbox [Tiered numbers], and use one or more indents to change from 1. to 1.1 or 1.1. 1 etc.

To end the list, choose None from the Bullets Lists pop-up menu, then continue typing text without a list format applied. You can also end the list by pressing Return or Enter twice.
