Click File Excel Options. In the Advanced category, under Display options for this worksheet, make sure that the Show gridlines check box is selected. In the Gridline color box, click the color you want. Tip: To return gridlines to the default color, click Automatic.
Go to File Options Advanced. Under Display options for this worksheet, select a worksheet, and then do one of the following: To display zero (0) values in cells, check the Show a zero in cells that have zero value check box.

Use the ROW function to number rows In the first cell of the range that you want to number, type =ROW(A1). The ROW function returns the number of the row that you reference. For example, =ROW(A1) returns the number 1. Drag the fill handle across the range that you want to fill.
