Change your theme setting On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides app. At the top left, tap Menu . Tap Settings . Tap Choose theme. Choose Dark, Light, or System default.

Dark theme currently is only supported on the mobile app, not the desktop version of Docs. Please share your concerns about this directly with the Docs team by opening a Docs document and going to Help Help Docs improve.
