I recently experienced a situation where my file size was much larger than expected. Despite having only six worksheets with a few charts, my file was 20.3 MB. By checking the Workbook stats under the Review tab, I found that I had six sheets in total. To reduce the file size, I recommend deleting any unnecessary worksheets.
