If you are looking to send out emails in bulk, it is best to use a mail merge tool such as YAMM. With YAMM, you can even add someone in the CC or BCC fields on your email draft or give them their own personalized column on your contact spreadsheet. This ensures that you add those recipients when sending mass emails.
Theres no limit to the number of unique recipients you can contact per month with mail merge. You can only have one recipient in the Cc or Bcc field in each message with mail merge. Any recipient added to the Cc or Bcc field is copied on each outgoing email.
Go to Advanced Campaign Options. In the campaign manager select the link titled Show advanced campaign features to open the advanced options. Option: Request read receipts. This will send your mail merge with a request for a read receipt. Option: Request delivery receipts. Option: Send with high importance.
Mail merge in Outlook doesnt let you add attachments by default. So youve to use an external toolkit to add attachments and use other advanced features.
In a spreadsheet Simply add cc as the header for a column in your spreadsheet, and the cc recipients will be retrieved from this column. For bcc recipients, do exactly the same by adding another column with bcc as the header.
Before starting a mail merge, perform the following steps in Microsoft Word. Go to File Options Advanced. Scroll down to the General section, select the check box Confirm file format conversion on open and click OK. Start your Mail Merge as usual (the detailed steps are here).
The Add CC button is used to add one or more receivers to the CC area. The user wants to add someone to the CC field after the user has already composed the email. The user clicks on the Reply or Forward button to bring up the message and then adds the CC recipient(s).
With Mail Merge, you can easily add CC and BCC recipients to your email campaigns and theyll receive a copy of every email that goes out to your merge recipients. You can also use this feature to copy your CRM tool so they can automatically capture communication with your leads.
