How do you black out text in a PDF?

Choose Tools Redact. On the Edit menu, choose Redact Text Images. Select the text or image in a PDF, right-click, and select Redact. Select the text or image in a PDF, and choose Redact in the floating context-menu.

Is there any way to remove redactions from PDF?

If you have access to the original file, removing redactions in a PDF is easy. Open Acrobat Pro and select the PDF file. Click on the Edit tab at the top of the screen. Select Redact Text Images. Once you remove the redactions, the colored bars will go away, revealing the information underneath.

How do I hide that a PDF has been edited?

If you need to hide any information on the document, go to the Protect tab, select the necessary text, and click on Apply Redaction. This will hide data if you share PDF documents externally.

How do you Redact a PDF so it Cannot be edited?

Sanitize your PDF documents Choose Tools Redact. Click Sanitize Document in the top toolbar. Choose to selectively remove hidden information or remove all by clicking OK. Choose Save As and save the file with a different name to avoid overwriting the original.
