A CDATA section is used to mark a section of an XML document, so that the XML parser interprets it only as character data, and not as markup. It comes handy when one XML data need to be embedded within another XML document.
Click the line where you want to insert the breakpoint in the XML source document or the XSLT/XQuery document. Breakpoints are automatically created on the ending line of a start tag, even if you click a different line. Right-click the vertical stripe on the left side of the editor panel and select Add breakpoint.

XML DOM splitText() Method The splitText() method splits the text node into two nodes at the specified offset. This function returns the node containing the text after the offset. The text before the offset remains in the original text node.
