Take pictures or screen recordings using Screenshot On your Mac, press Shift-Command-5 (or use Launchpad) to open Screenshot and display the tools. Click a tool to use to select what you want to capture or record (or use the Touch Bar).
On your Mac, choose Apple menu System Settings, click Keyboard in the sidebar (you may need to scroll down), then click Keyboard Shortcuts on the right. Select App Shortcuts on the left, click the Add button , click the Application pop-up menu, then choose a specific app or All Applications.

macOS Ventura Choose Apple menu  System Settings. Click Keyboard in the sidebar. Click the Keyboard Shortcuts button on the right. Click Function Keys in the sidebar. Turn on Use F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys.
You might be familiar with this shortcut Ctrl + Shift + V (Cmd + Shift + V on Mac)its also called keep text only or paste plain textbecause of its popularity in other applications like Microsoft Teams, Word for the web, Google, and Gmail.
The Ctrl+Shift+V keyboard shortcut most commonly used to paste text as plain text. Below are other programs that use this keyboard shortcut and related information.
option-F9 (also known as alt-F9), or fn-option-F9/fn-alt-F9 toggles fields between field code view, where you see all the { }, and field results view. Sometimes you need to do that when entering field codes because the codes may disappear when you insert them (particularly if you copy/paste).
Select multiple items: Press and hold the Command key, then click the items (they dont need to be next to each other). Select multiple items that are adjacent: Click the first item, then press the Shift key and click the last item. All items in between are included in the selection.
