You can plot to PDF from the AutoCAD web app by using the PLOT command, or by clicking the PLOT icon in the header. In AutoCAD Mobile, the drawing file will be exported to PDF and sent to an email address as an attachment. See AutoCAD mobile Help: Plot to PDF.
Solution: Go to Application menu Print Batch Plot. Set Publish to: to a desired output (for example, PDF or Plotter named in page setup). Click Add Sheets to add drawings, or Remove Sheets to delete selected drawings. Set any necessary options ingly. Click Publish.
Solution: To solve the problem, follow one of the steps below: Turn off background plotting by typing BACKGROUNDPLOT on the command line in AutoCAD and setting it to 0 (zero). Disable antivirus software to confirm it is not conflicting with the plot or publish process from AutoCAD.
Press and hold the Ctrl key and near the bottom-left of the drawing area, click the layout tabs that you want to export. Right-click and select Publish Selected Layouts. In the Publish dialog box, in the Publish To: drop-down list, select PDF.
Binding is not possible for PDFs or raster images, therefore the option is missing in the right-click menu of such reference types.
If youre already working in AutoCAD and need to create a PDF, you can export the file: Go to Output Plot. Choose a PDF preset. Click OK. Name and save your file.
Go to the Pencil icon in the toolbar to start drawing on your PDF. For your markup preferences, choose from numerous colors in various shades. You can even select your preferred pencil-line thickness by using a sliding bar.
With your PDF open in Preview, access annotation tools by clicking the Markup icon in the main toolbar. You can also go to the View menu Show Markup Toolbar. There youll find basic tools to draw or write on your PDF, add shapes, and insert text boxes.
