In this tutorial, Hussein from EJ Academy demonstrates how to customize the header and footer in Pages. He explains that the default header may not offer the desired flexibility and shows how to delete the existing header to create a customized one. Hussein designs a header with text, a border line, and an image using text boxes, line objects, and shapes. Once the header is complete, he groups everything together as one object and moves it to the header section using the "Arrange" menu. Finally, Hussein accesses the "Section Master" option in the "Arrange" menu to save the customized header.
