Smart field links in Dubsado are used in email templates as placeholders for buttons that link to content like forms. These buttons are how you send questionnaires, contracts, or sub agreements in an email, and are created automatically when paired with a specific form. When editing a canned email, smart field links can be found in the formatting bar under "smart field links." Different smart field links are available for different types of content, such as contracts or questionnaires. To include a contract in the email, use the contract link smart field, and for sub agreements or questionnaires, use the formlink smart field. Date smart fields will autofill the current date and time. For example, if you have a date smart field in your contract template, and you add that contract to a project on June 3, the date will fill in as June 3 and remain that way.

To create an email signature template: From your HoneyBook home page, click the Tools menu. Select My Templates from the menu. Select Email Signature from the list of template types. Here, youll see the Default Signature that weve created for you using your company details. Now, create your template!
