The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) offers online services to renew, replace, upgrade, or change the address on your driver license (DL), commercial driver license (CDL), or ID card.
There are three categories of documents that must be presented to establish proof of identity. Every original applicant must present:  One piece of PRIMARY identification; or  One piece of SECONDARY identification plus two pieces of SUPPORTING identification; or  Two pieces of SECONDARY identification.
