How to register as an occupational therapist in the UK?
In order to get registered, applicants must fulfil the HCPC criteria which includes professional indemnity insurance and CPD requirements. How much does HCPC cost UK?
The renewal fee is 232.72 for two years (116.36 per year). If you are a new UK graduate from an HCPC approved course, the fee you will pay for the first two professional years is reduced by 50 percent to 116.36 (58.18 per year).
Can I work in the UK without HCPC?
Without HCPC registration you cannot work in your chosen profession in the UK. However, in some professions such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech Therapy, you can work as an allied health assistant.
