An employee who has received a Notice of Proposed Dismissal for Redundancy (Form RP50 (Part A)) may decide to leave the employment earlier than the date of redundancy notified to him/her, for example to take up an offer of alternative employment.
Your employer must give you: 1.5 weeks pay for each full year you worked from age 41. 1 weeks pay for each full year you worked when you were between 22 and 40. half a weeks pay for each year you worked when you were between 17 and 21.
What is redundancy? Voluntary redundancy. Compulsory redundancy, including pool and collective redundancy.
Form RP1 is your application for arrears of wages, unpaid holiday pay and/or unpaid redundancy pay. Please check the details and/or complete the form as necessary.
