If you decide to drop all your classes after the add/drop period, you must resign and your charges will be adjusted. You may resign by calling 412-624-7585, sending an e-mail to resignation@bc.pitt.edu or visiting the Student Appeals office, room G-12 Thackeray Hall immediately.
Submit a withdrawal request. You may also be asked to meet with your academic adviser for exit counseling, which typically involves reviewing important school policies and discussing the options you have open to you. Once the paperwork goes through, your enrollment will be officially terminated.
Important Definitions Course Drop: Removal of a course from a students schedule before the end of the first week of class. Course Withdrawal: Any removal of a course from a students schedule after the end of week one using the online form provided.
If you must withdraw, you should always withdraw officially by going to your advisor or dropping the class on your student account. You should not withdraw from a class by not going to the class anymore.
If you choose to withdraw completely from a semester, you must complete the Complete Withdrawal Form, dropping all courses.
