Understanding the N6 Notice The N6 form is a legal notice that a landlord can give to a tenant to end the tenancy for reasons that include illegal activities or causing serious problems in the rental property or for other tenants.
A tenant should not withhold any part of the rent, even if the tenant feels that maintenance is poor or a necessary repair has not been done. A landlord can apply to evict a tenant if the full rent is not paid on time.
FORM T6. (Disponible en franais) Important Information for Tenants. Use this form to apply to have the Board determine whether your landlord: has not repaired or maintained the rental unit or the residential complex, or has not complied with health, safety, housing or maintenance standards.
The closest you can get to legally evicting a tenant immediately in Ontario is with a cash-for-keys agreement. This involves the signing of a consent form (ideally drafted by a legal professional), an N11 form, and money from the landlord to help the tenant cover the costs of moving out and finding a new place to live.
APPLICATION UNDER SECTION 310(a)(1) OF THE TRUST INDENTURE. ACT OF 1939 FOR DETERMINATION OF ELIGIBILITY OF A FOREIGN PERSON. TO ACT AS INSTITUTIONAL TRUSTEE.

How Long Does It Take to Evict a Tenant in Ontario? Unfortunately, eviction is not a speedy process. It can take anywhere from 85 138 days to evict a tenant after an eviction notice has been given. If the tenant needs to be removed by the Sheriffs office, the timeline could stretch to 168 days.
